College of William & Mary
Challenge: Like many comprehensive state institutions, the College of William & Mary asks its website to work hard. The College requires a website that showcases campus life for prospective students and families, gives current students and faculty the news and event listings that they’re looking for, and provides a link back to the College for alumni around the world. On top of all this, the website must have design and messaging that helps the College take ownership of its brand.
Solution: mStoner partnered with the William & Mary team to meet and surpass these challenges. We began with an in-depth discovery process and content management system selection that laid the foundation for a smooth project. Once we and our partners at William & Mary agreed on the strategy, we went to work implementing our design and configuring the technology solutions that would make this site an enduring success. The teamwork on this project in particular stands out. Our counterparts at William & Mary embody our understanding of what makes a great client: responsive, engaged, (punctual!) and willing to take chances.
Result: We believe that the William & Mary website is one that grabs attention at first glance and will stand the test of time. The site is beautifully designed, with easy access to critical information and services. Arresting visuals help to tell the William & Mary story, and the editorial tone is also very uniquely tailored to this institution. The quality of the team dedicated to maintaining this site ensures that it will be kept strong and lively into the future. We look forward to seeing what comes next!
