FIT Has a New Look
Congratulations to the Fashion Institute of Technology on the launch of their new site! We’ve enjoyed working with FIT on strategy, design, and content development as well as CMS selection and implementation. Their home page features a brand-based flash unit and the site is packed with student galleries, profiles, and video. They also have a brand new look for The Museum At FIT. Check it out!
Congratulations to the College of Charleston on Their Site Launch
Congratulations to the College of Charleston on the launch of their new website today. We’ve enjoyed working with the College of Charleston and could not be more pleased with the redesigned site. Check out their sparkling new design today!
Congratulations to W&M
A big round of applause to our friends at the College of William & Mary for taking home two awards at the 2nd annual eduStyle Higher Ed Web Awards. Recognized for Best Use of Photography and Best Redesign, we could not be more proud of W&M’s achievements since their re-launch in 2008. Congratulations to the W&M team for your continued success!
Michael Stoner on Social Media
Michael Stoner just returned from CASE 2009 Summit for Advancement Leaders where he spoke alongside Elizabeth Allen, associate director of alumni relations at Caltech Alumni Association, about the growing impact of social media, including six common social media myths. Their presentation was referenced today in the July 2009 BriefCASE newsletter.
New Clients
We are delighted and absolutely thrilled to welcome Trinity College (Hartford, CT) and Union College (Schenectady, NY) to our family of clients and friends. Each of these institutions has incredible potential, and we look forward to collaborating with them in the months to come.
Welcome, Brian
Brian Byrne has joined the mStoner team to help with design survey creation and summaries, usability testing, migration, and a host of other activities in our Chicago office. Brian joins us from Northwestern University, where he helped manage web content and supervised quality assurance on a variety of projects.
Congratulations SDSU
Congratulations to mStoner client South Dakota State University on the launch of their new site. We’ve enjoyed working with SDSU on strategy, design, and content development as well as CMS selection and implementation. Student profiles and video balance traditional content to create a complete picture of life at the University. Take a look!
George School Wins Gold
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to George School, mStoner client and winner of a Gold Medal in the 2009 CASE Circle of Excellence Award competition.
We’re very proud of the redesigned site and the partnership that we’ve formed with this unique institution. George School is small is size, but huge in spirit, and we think the new site (now award-winning site!) expresses this beautifully. Best wishes to the George team.
W&M Nominated for Best Overall Website
If you’ve been reading our blog, you know how we feel about the College of William & Mary: top-tier institution, beautiful and functional site, and one of the best client teams we’ve ever worked with. Apparently, the site has some other fans as well. It’s been nominated in three EduStyle award categories: Best Overall, Best Redesign, Best Use of Photography.
There’s a People’s Choice award for each of these categories if you’d like to voice your support for the William & Mary site—we certainly will do the same.
And while you’re at it, feel free to vote for the mStonerblog, nominated as one of the top higher ed blogs.
mStoner Launches New Site
There’s an old saying about the cobbler’s children going barefoot. While we’re not exactly barefoot, we do have a tendency to (rightly) focus on the websites of our clients instead of our own. So it’s with great pleasure and a certain measure of relief that we finally launch our new site today.
We’ll be continuing to make changes here and there in the coming weeks, but we’d love feedback on what you see here.
